The Journey Continues...
In the first book of this exciting trilogy, the story began with the introduction of Nathan
Blumberg, the only son of Harry and Ruth Blumberg, and the heir to the pulpit of his father's
Synagogue in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Nathan is about to graduate from Yeshiva University in
New York and become an ordained Rabbi. At his graduation, he meets, falls in love with and
eventually marries Rachael, the girl of his dreams from the first moment their eyes met.
As we follow the destiny of their twists of fate and family surprises, Nathan eventually assumes
the pulpit of the Synagogue and Rachael begins a complicated and dangerous pregnancy. The
ultimate birth of who is to be their only son David, a pregnancy that nearly claims her life.
As the years pass, David decides to follow his own destiny, rejecting any notion of becoming a
Rabbi and even meets and falls in love with a Christian, high school classmate. Despite his father
obtaining acceptance to Yeshiva, David secretly applies to and is accepted by the University of
Pittsburgh (Pitt) and Diane, his Christian sweetheart, enters CMU, just three miles from the Pitt
campus.
After the tragic indiscretion of both his roommate and Diane, David is heartbroken and
vulnerable to the charms of a mysterious, beautiful young woman who he meets under more
tragic circumstances and is duped into believing she is with an Israeli organization connected
with anti-terrorism. In fact, she is a recruiter for the PLO in the Middle East.
David, bewildered and seeking to make some sense of his life, soon finds himself in Israel after
being led to believe he would be trained to join the Israeli Mossad. Instead, he is drawn into
