Hello and welcome to my website. This is OUR page, my readers and I, a page to talk
about my books and provide you with my personal insight to them.  

One of the comments that I have heard so many times, is that not one of my novels
contain profanity, scenes involving drugs or explicit sexual scenes.  Parents have
read my books and told me that they have passed them on to their teenage children
or to other family members and friends. That is a consistency that will continue, as it
is my core belief that there is enough shockers in our world that one does not have to
see sex, profanity and drugs on a written page to enjoy a thrilling story. This is the
author's choice, and I believe that it is about the descriptive word and the in-depth
presentation of the characters and their personalities.  Even some of the "bad-guys"
in my books can be presented as evil without vulgarity to convince you that they are
indeed the villains!

During an interview about two years ago on PBS, I was asked if my religious beliefs or
faith played a part in my novels. I affirmed that it had everything to do with the content
and the presentation of my stories. They are character driven, cover almost every
aspect of what a good story should consist of ( Romance, love, adventure, realism,
lots of action) and never need a single profane word to drive-home any scene or any
message.  In BLOOD & DESTINY, when Nathan and Rachael lingered near the exit of
the Synagogue to kiss and hold one another for the first time as husband and wife,
they spoke of their anticipation to their wedding night. They were exchanged words of
a deep and abiding love for one another and the fact that they had both waited for this
day as their first experience.  Their conversation was beautiful and soul-searching
and I did not have to take you inside their honeymoon bedroom for the reader to get
the message!   

I have also been asked about violence in some of my novels, those chapters where
people do get killed! Death and gore are two different things. A man can be shot or a
group of people can be killed by a terrorist bomb and I need not go into detail about
their inners being blown-away or gorey details about gunshots to the head. When
someone dies in my books, you know they are dead and my not describing every
detail about the blood and guts allows you to sigh a relief that justice was served or
stop and feel badly for the moment that a good person died.  Explicit gore? Not
necessary and out of character for the type of books I write. Shock value is not
necessary for you to develop your own emotional responses to my words of action.
